Jennifer McCall | Assistant Coach

Jennifer McCall begins her first season as assistant volleyball coach at Midwestern State in 2022.

"I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with Jennifer McCall again," MSU coach Stephanie Radecki said. "Her experience is an asset, her knowledge of the game is invaluable, and her top-notch recruiting and managerial skills are essential in building a championship culture at any level."

Radecki and McCall proved to be a dynamic duo over the past 12 seasons. The duo coached North Alabama to five NCAA Division II tournament appearances and claimed back-to-back Gulf South Conference postseason championships in 2015 and 2016.

McCall served the last four seasons with Radecki at Division I Southern Miss as the program's associate head coach.

Prior to her stop at UNCW, McCall served one season as associate head coach at Gardner-Webb University. She previously spent three years as assistant coach and associate head coach at Iowa State (2000-02). She also served five seasons at Auburn as an assistant, the first two as a graduate assistant before moving into the assistant role her final three seasons with the Tigers.

McCall also enjoyed an outstanding playing career at Florida State where she helped the Seminoles to three NCAA tournament appearances as a four-year letter winner.

The setter remains ninth all-time with 2,888 career assists, while her 1,452 assists during the 1993 season rank third on the single-season list.

McCall was the starting setter on FSU’s co-championship team in the Atlantic Coast Conference in 1992 and was voted Team MVP in 1993.

A three-time team captain and member of the league’s All-Academic Team, McCall earned the Golden Torch Award from 1991-93 for posting the team’s highest grade-point average and earned her bachelor’s degree in physical education in 1994.

After her playing career, she spent five years on the staff at Auburn where she earned her master’s degree in health and human performance in 1997.

She helped the Tigers compile a 98-52 overall record with the Southeastern Conference Western Division regular season title in 1997.
